Abstract: Getting Real Volume 4  was undertaken by the Documentary Organization of Canada to provide an updated profile of the documentary production industry in Canada. This update, the fourth in this series of profiles, shows that documentary production volume and employment have declined since 2007 when the last data was collected. Despite these challenges, new content platforms and technological advances are providing opportunities for documentary production in Canada to grow.
