Abstract: This paper analyzes CRTC’s Let’s Talk TV (LTTV) proceedings, in which Chairman Jean-Pierre Blais highlighted the need for ensuring diversity in media. This report describes the policy surrounding diversity in broadcasting, provides background information on the LTTV proceedings, summarizes the CRTC’s LTTC policy decisions and analyzes the impact of the policy decisions.
