Abstract:
An economic impact and industry profile of the Canadian English-language book publishing industry. Provides information on the size and structure of the industry, size of output, a labour profile, revenue profile, market analysis and economic impact assessment, with a reference year of 2016. The study involved creation of a list of all active, English-language, Canadian (defined as at least 75% Canadian-owned) publishers; an online survey; and review of administrative data sources.
