Abstract: This study focuses on the challenges faced by post-production professionals within Canada. It identifies that while the country has seen an increase in production investment within the last couple years, it has struggled to keep productions within the country for the entire process. The study makes recommendations on how to promote Canadian editors to foreign producers, outlines the barriers editors face, and describes benefits of fostering a healthy post-production industry .
