This report details the location of television pilot filming by major North American network and cable studios (e.g. Disney, Warner Bros.) and new digital entrants (e.g. Netflix, Amazon) for the 2016-17 development cycle. The study provides an analysis of pilots filmed in the Greater Los Angeles region in terms of market share, economic impact, number of pilots produced, and a 10-year comparison of results. Drama and comedy genres are split out for analysis.
