Abstract: This study identifies the international sale trends and export strategies from foreign film markets from the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany and Spain, in addition to the trends within the Canadian film industry. The purpose of this study was to analyse foreign markets, and understand where Canada lies within global trends, what challenges the Canadian film industry faces, and what opportunities and changes it can make in terms of strategy and exporting its content.
